Turning Nostalgia, Humor, and Personality Into Original Art

Our journey has been anything but ordinary. Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead. What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.

Art Doesn’t Have to Be Serious to Matter

There is an unspoken rule in the art world that meaningful art must be profound.

Mario disagrees.

Some art exists to challenge.

Some art exists to provoke.

Some art exists to make you laugh, remember, and enjoy being alive.

Mario’s work lives in that third category.

His paintings celebrate personality, nostalgia, humor, and the strange little moments that make life memorable.

Because happiness is a worthy emotional response too.

The Artist Who Paints What He Loves

Mario’s artistic inspiration comes from the things that genuinely excite him.

Animals.

Movies.

Television.

Vintage aesthetics.

Interesting characters.

Pop culture icons.

Rather than chasing trends or creating work for a specific market, he follows his curiosity.

If he finds something entertaining, charming, weird, nostalgic, or visually exciting, it has a good chance of finding its way into a painting.

That authenticity is part of what makes his work so relatable.

You can tell the artist is having fun.

And viewers often find themselves doing the same.

A Pandemic Painting Changed Everything

Like many artists, Mario’s journey wasn’t built through formal training.

It began with a personal project.

During the pandemic, he painted one of his dogs.

What started as a creative experiment quickly became something much larger.

He discovered a genuine love for painting and began developing his skills through practice, experimentation, and relentless curiosity.

Self-taught and constantly evolving, Mario has spent years refining a style that combines technical growth with a sense of humor that remains intact throughout his work.

Meet Dancing Jack

Every artist has a signature.

Mario has a skeleton.

One of the most recognizable figures in his portfolio is Dancing Jack, a mischievous character who always seems to be finding trouble, adventure, or both.

Jack has become a recurring presence throughout Mario’s work, helping create a visual universe that collectors immediately recognize.

The character embodies much of what makes Mario’s work unique:

Playfulness.

Curiosity.

Humor.

And the willingness to have fun without overthinking everything.

The Importance of the Frame

For many artists, the frame is an afterthought.

For Mario, it is often where the creative process begins.

His collection of vintage and recycled frames serves as inspiration for new work. Before a painting exists, he often finds himself studying a frame and imagining what kind of character or story belongs inside it.

Many of these frames carry their own history, complete with imperfections, scratches, and signs of previous lives.

Rather than hiding those details, Mario embraces them.

The frame becomes part of the artwork’s story.

Mario’s work belongs anywhere people want a little more character.

Wherever people gather, laugh, tell stories, and create memories.

Because the best conversation starter isn’t always a person.

Sometimes it’s hanging on the wall.
